Located on the edge of the East Village in Manhattan, Cooper Union may be small, given the number of students they have, but the city is your playground and provides experiences that few other places can. They share their geography with plenty of other colleges and the exposure to just about anything your imagination can take you to makes your opportunities endless.

• Engineering majors: Chemical, electrical, mechanical, civil as well as a general engineering degree
• Fine Arts majors: Drawing, film/video, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture

• Take home “tests” for prospective Architecture and art students to be completed within 4 weeks
• Can transfer into another major but it is not guaranteed
• 50% of the student population pull from NYC and NY State, many students from California, Florida and Texas
• Has a reciprocity agreement with the New School and somewhat with NYU
