When you think northern NJ, near NYC, your first thoughts are congestion, busy and crowded. Enter Mahwah, exit off of high traffic Route 17, and you pass horse farms, view rolling hills and plenty of greenery. Then you get to Ramapo College and you feel peacefulness and welcoming at this NJ state higher education establishment. I only live 20 minutes away but wish I came to visit years ago. And you should as well.
