Numbers don’t lie: It’s more important to be hardworking and curious than to receive a certain thick envelope.
Does it really matter whether you attend an elite college?
I get this question more times than I can count and finally there is a study out there that proves my point and my response to everyone that asks me this question. It’s about what you make of it and not about the name that you’re attending. I know students who have graduated from Ivy League institutions who are floundering and others who have graduated from an average school with a name that many haven’t heard of that are thriving.
Read this article from The Atlantic that outlines the results from a study that are not surprising, at least not to me, where the numbers speak volumes (They always do) and the stress and anxiety I see on a daily basis should very possibly be refocused.
