Allegheny College is a private liberal arts and sciences institution located in Meadville, Pennsylvania. Established in 1815, it is one of the nation’s oldest colleges, known for encouraging students to pursue “Unusual Combinations” of interests by choosing both a major and a minor in different academic disciplines. The picturesque campus spans 79 acres in a suburban setting, providing a vibrant residential community forty minutes south of Erie, and about 90 minutes north of Pittsburgh.
