CURRICULUM
• This R1 university is home to 10 colleges including a law school, veterinary school, and a health sciences center that houses both a medical and nursing school
• Offers over 150 majors and the opportunity to enroll directly in your major (some exceptions include nursing which begins as a pre-major)
• Can apply to Honors College in addition to other college
• Honors is capped at about 1200 first year students

• 20% of students study abroad with campuses located in Spain and Costa Rica. Domestic students can even choose to earn their degree from the Costa Rica campus (limited to some Engineering, Math and Hospitality majors)
• First year students are required to live on campus, offer 18 different living and learning communities including Honors College, Engineering and Women in STEM
• Only 23% live in dorms, off-campus housing is available along with a bus system to get students around
• About 14% of undergraduate students participate in sororities and fraternities
• Support services include: TRIO, Writing and Learning Centers, Disability services (by application), TECHniques (1:1 support for a fee focusing on ADD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum)

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

• Rolling Admissions with decision released in 2 – 4 weeks
• Offers both an assured admission based on GPA and test scores as well as a holistic review for test optional students.
• Assured admits enroll directly into their chosen majors
• Students generally apply to the university as a whole, but some competitive programs may have additional requirements – Engineering majors need Pre-Calculus.
• Offer a Summer Gateway program and re-evaluations
• Demonstrated Interest is not formally considered
